The Gravity: CT1780 1-Wire K-Type Thermocouple Amplifier is a high-range digital temperature measurement module designed for extreme thermal monitoring. It allows users to interface standard K-type thermocouples with microcontrollers using a streamlined single-wire connection. This module is well suited to students, makers, and educators working on scientific instrumentation, robotics, and industrial sensing projects.
Broad temperature sensing range
The module reads temperatures spanning from -270℃ up to +1372℃ using a compatible K-type thermocouple probe. This expansive range accommodates extreme cold environments as well as high-heat applications.
Accurate 14-bit digital resolution
It incorporates a 14-bit analogue-to-digital converter providing fine temperature increments of 0.25℃. This ensures detailed and reliable feedback for precise thermal tracking.
Single-pin 1-Wire communication
Data is transmitted using the 1-Wire communication protocol, reducing the number of microcontroller pins required for data transfer. This conserves vital input/output lines for other sensors and actuators.
