Description
The Gravity: CL2 Sensor is a factory-calibrated electrochemical chlorine detector designed for precise environmental monitoring across a 0 to 20 ppm range. Supporting I2C, UART, and analogue outputs, it is ideal for makers, educators, and engineers building safety and air-quality monitoring systems on Arduino, ESP32, or Raspberry Pi.
Factory-calibrated electrochemical probe
The sensor utilizes an electrochemical probe to deliver accurate chlorine concentration measurements with high sensitivity and strong anti-interference capabilities. Each unit comes pre-calibrated from the factory and offers an operating service life exceeding two years in air.
Versatile communication interfaces
To suit diverse microcontroller setups, the module provides three output options including I2C, UART (0 to 3V), and analogue voltage. It features 32 configurable I2C addresses alongside an integrated temperature compensation algorithm and threshold alarm function.
Part of a standardised gas series
This module belongs to a series of 12 gas detection sensors that share identical operation methods and data formats. This uniform design allows developers to easily combine multiple gas sensors within the same environmental monitoring project.

Broad development board compatibility
Operating across 3.3V to 5.5V DC with low power consumption under 5mA, the sensor connects seamlessly using the standard Gravity interface. It provides direct hardware and sample code compatibility with Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi.
Practical industrial and environmental applications
Rated for temperatures between -20 and 50 degrees Celsius, this detector is well suited for chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and environmental protection equipment. The package includes the signal conversion board, chlorine probe, and a 4-pin Gravity connection cable.
