Description
The Gravity: BMM350 is a high-precision, low-power triple-axis geomagnetic sensor engineered for spatial orientation and compass navigation. Powered by Bosch FlipCore and TMR technology with field shock recovery, it delivers accurate heading data without requiring calibration. It is well suited for students, makers, and engineers building AR/VR devices, drones, and autonomous mobile robots.
TMR technology and field shock recovery
Utilising tunnel magnetoresistance technology, the sensor features built-in field shock recovery to guard against external magnetic disturbances. This ensures robust and reliable orientation data in electrically noisy or dynamic operating environments.

Fast sampling and I3C communication
Supporting update rates up to 400Hz, the BMM350 delivers the low-latency response required for real-time tracking. It adds I3C bus communication alongside standard I2C, allowing higher data rates and multiple sensors on a single bus to simplify wiring.

Wide measurement range and low current
The module measures magnetic fields up to ±2000μT across all three axes with a ±25μT zero-field offset. Operating at 3.3V to 5V DC with a quick 2.5ms start-up time, it draws only 200μA in normal mode at a 100Hz sample rate, making it ideal for battery-powered setups.
Versatile robotics and navigation applications
With calibration-free spatial orientation, this sensor enhances head-tracking in AR and VR headsets, e-compass units, and aerial drone stabilisation. It also serves as a reliable positioning reference for AGV geomagnetic navigation platforms.

Included hardware and connectivity
The kit includes the Gravity: BMM350 triple-axis magnetometer board, a standard Gravity sensor cable, and a 10-pin XH2.54 header for breadboard integration.
