Gravity: Analog TDS Sensor/ Meter for Arduino

The Gravity: Analog TDS Sensor is an Arduino-compatible water quality kit designed to measure Total Dissolved Solids in liquids. It is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers developing automated hydroponics rigs, aquarium monitors, or domestic water testing systems.

Reliable water cleanliness monitoring

The sensor measures Total Dissolved Solids across a range of 0 to 1000 ppm to reflect dissolved mineral and salt concentrations. This provides an effective reference metric for assessing the cleanliness of domestic water, aquariums, and nutrient solutions.

AC excitation and waterproof probe

An integrated AC excitation source prevents electrode polarisation, significantly extending probe lifespan and stabilising output readings. The dual-needle probe features an 83 cm waterproof lead designed for extended liquid immersion.

Broad microcontroller compatibility

With an input voltage of 3.3V to 5.5V and an analog output of 0V to 2.3V, the transmitter board easily interfaces with standard 3.3V and 5V development boards. The standard 3-pin connector enables plug-and-play integration without soldering.

Operational guidelines and precautions

The probe is rated for water temperatures up to 55 degrees Celsius and should be kept away from container walls to avoid measurement interference. While the probe and cable are fully submersible, the signal transmitter board and connectors must be kept dry.

Each set includes one analog signal transmitter board, one waterproof TDS probe with connection lead, and one 3-pin analog sensor cable.
