The Gravity: Analog Spear Tip pH Sensor / Meter Kit is designed to measure the pH level of liquids and semisolid substances such as wet soil and foods. Featuring a durable, pointed stainless steel shield and seamless Arduino integration, it is ideal for students, agricultural researchers, and makers building soil monitoring or food quality testing systems.

Penetrating spear tip probe design

The pH probe is equipped with a sharp stainless steel spear-shaped protective shield that allows it to pierce directly into soft semisolid materials. This enables direct acidity and alkalinity testing in wet soil, fruit, meat, and vegetables without damaging the delicate inner electrode.

Easy microcontroller integration

Designed for standard 5V microcontroller setups, the signal conversion board connects easily to Arduino and compatible development platforms using the included 3-pin Gravity cable. It outputs an analogue voltage from 0V to 4.0V corresponding to the measured pH value.

Accurate pH measurement performance

The probe covers a measurement range of 0 to 10 pH with an accuracy of plus or minus 0.1 pH and an operating temperature range of 5 to 60 degrees Celsius. It features a PTFE salt bridge, a polyoxymethylene shell, and an 850 mm cable terminated with a standard BNC connector.

Compact signal transmitter board

Measuring 43 mm by 32 mm, the signal transmitter board converts the high-impedance BNC probe signal into a clean analogue output. It features a BNC input jack and a standard Gravity PH2.0-3Pin interface for simple plug-and-play wiring.

Operation and care guidelines

This laboratory electrode is designed for quick spot checks rather than prolonged continuous submersion, and it should not be used on hard solids, oily samples, or highly viscous mixtures. The probe cap contains a 3.3 mol per litre potassium chloride storage solution to maintain electrode health and measurement accuracy.
