Description
The Gravity: Analog Sound Sensor is an ambient sound detection module designed for microcontrollers including Arduino and Raspberry Pi. With a wide 3.3V to 5V operating range and standard analog output, it provides an easy way for students and hobbyists to integrate sound-reactive triggers into their builds. Its plug-and-play Gravity interface simplifies prototyping for interactive sound projects.
Swift sound intensity detection
This microphone breakout module measures ambient loudness and outputs an analog signal that your development board can process to trigger actions. It is suitable for interactive projects like clap-activated alarms and pairs effectively with an audio analyser module.

Wide controller compatibility
Operating across a 3.3V to 5V supply voltage range, the module is directly compatible with 5V Arduino boards as well as 3.3V platforms such as Raspberry Pi, Intel Edison, Joule, and Curie.
Plug-and-play Gravity interface
Equipped with a standard Gravity connector, the board connects seamlessly to IO expansion shields without complicated wiring. It features clear functional iconography, distinct labelling for analog interfacing, and a high-quality connector.

Durable immersion gold finish
The module features an immersion gold surface finish and measures 22 x 32 mm. It includes standard 3 mm mounting holes positioned at 5 cm multiple intervals for straightforward chassis integration.
Included accessories
Each unit comes supplied with one analog sound sensor board and one matching analog cable to connect straight into your breakout shield.
