Description

The Gravity: Analog SHT30 Temperature & Humidity Sensor provides accurate, linearised environmental data powered by Sensirion CMOSens technology. Designed to output calibrated analog voltages, it connects effortlessly to 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers like Arduino, micro:bit, and ESP32. This module is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers building IoT environmental monitors and smart home systems.

The module hooks directly into an Arduino UNO using standard analog pins. It operates across a 3.3V to 5.5V input voltage range and outputs linear voltages between 0.3V and 2.7V for simple reading.

Seamless setup with micro:bit

Pairing the sensor with a micro:bit and micro:mate expansion board allows for rapid prototyping in educational environments. The dual analog outputs make temperature and humidity monitoring straightforward without requiring complex software libraries.

Sensirion CMOSens core performance

Featuring the SHT30 sensor IC, the board combines capacitive humidity and band-gap temperature sensing elements. Internal calibration and amplification ensure low power consumption, fast response times, and strong immunity to interference.

Broad measurement range and accuracy

The board measures temperatures from -40°C to 125°C with a typical accuracy of ±0.2°C between 10°C and 55°C. Relative humidity is measured from 0 to 100 %RH with a typical accuracy of ±3 %RH across the 10 to 90 %RH range.

Included cables and accessories

The package contains one Gravity: Analog SHT30 sensor board, two Gravity 3-pin analog cables, and an XH2.54 4-pin header for flexible connection options.
