Gravity: Analog Rotary Switch Module V1

The Gravity: Analog Rotary Switch Module V1 is a multi-position rotary switch that reads up to 12 states across a single analog input pin. It is designed for students, makers, and hobbyists looking to add multi-speed selection or mode switching to their Arduino and robotics projects without exhausting microcontroller IO pins.

Single analog pin readout

The switch reads 12 distinct switch states over a single analog input, saving valuable IO resources on your microcontroller. This makes it well suited for complex control tasks such as multi-speed motor control or multi-state operational modes.

Adjustable 2 to 12 tap positions

Users can adjust the internal metal buckle to limit or expand the switch between 2 and 12 selectable positions. This allows the switch mechanism to be tailored to the exact requirements of your application.

Dedicated position indicator LEDs

Each position on the module is paired with an onboard indicator LED. The corresponding LED illuminates to provide immediate visual feedback for the currently selected switch state.

Clear Gravity interface markings

The module features updated interface silkscreen markings, including functional icons and clear analog port indicators. It connects via an analog interface and is compatible with Romeo controller boards.

Compact mechanical construction

The switch uses an internal rotor and contact arm mechanism to provide extensive pole and throw capabilities in a 43 x 38 x 40 mm footprint. It is powered via standard analog sensor voltage lines.

Supplied connection cable

Each pack includes one rotary switch module and one analog interface cable. This provides the necessary wiring to integrate the switch directly into compatible microcontroller setups.
