Description
The Gravity: Analog ORP Sensor Meter is a compact water quality monitoring tool designed for seamless integration with Arduino microcontrollers. It measures the oxidation-reduction potential of aqueous solutions to track disinfection levels, chemical reactions, and overall liquid condition. This kit is ideal for students, hobbyists, and researchers building automated environmental monitoring, hydroponics, or aquaculture systems.
Linear oxidation-reduction potential tracking
ORP measures the relative degree of oxidation and reduction in an aqueous solution to reliably assess water treatment and cleanliness. Unlike pH readings that follow a logarithmic curve, ORP follows a linear relationship, offering straightforward data analysis with minimal calibration.
Arduino-ready signal conditioning board
The compact 40mm by 27mm module runs on a +5.00V power supply and connects directly to microcontroller boards using a standard PH2.0 3-pin analogue interface. It includes an onboard power LED indicator and an integrated zero-calibration button for rapid setup.
Wide measuring range and accuracy
The sensor measures electrical potential across a range of -2000 mV to +2000 mV with an accuracy of ±10 mV at 25 °C. It provides stable readings within liquid temperatures ranging from 5 °C to 70 °C with a response time of 20 seconds or less.
BNC probe interface
The system features an ORP probe equipped with a standard BNC connector that locks securely into the signal board. This modular setup allows for easy connection, disconnection, and routine electrode maintenance.
Electrode protection and storage
The probe comes with a protective cap filled with 3.3 mol/L KCl storage solution to preserve the electrode. Any white salt crystals forming around the cap from slight leakage are normal and can simply be returned to the storage liquid without impacting probe life or accuracy.

This analogue sensor is suited for water quality testing, aquaculture systems, marine science research, hydroponic gardening, and general chemistry education. It delivers consistent quality data across various liquid conditions and chemical treatments.
