Description
The Gravity: Analog Hydrogen Gas Sensor (MQ8) is a semiconductor-based detector designed for qualitative hydrogen gas monitoring and leak detection. Featuring high sensitivity to H2 and a standard Gravity interface, it is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers building environmental safety projects.
Targeted hydrogen leak detection
Equipped with an MQ8 probe, this sensor offers high sensitivity to hydrogen gas with low cross-sensitivity to alcohol, LPG, and cooking fumes. It is well suited for qualitative analysis and early leak warning applications.
Adjustable sensitivity and analogue output
The onboard potentiometer allows you to fine-tune the sensor sensitivity to suit your project needs. The module outputs an analogue voltage that is proportional to the concentration of detected gas.
Plug-and-play Gravity interface
Designed for straightforward integration with Arduino microcontrollers, the sensor pairs easily with standard IO expansion shields. It runs on a 5V power supply using standard three-pin analogue connectivity.
Compact and durable design
With a compact footprint of 40 x 20 mm, this board provides stable operation and a long working life for embedded prototypes. The package includes one MQ8 hydrogen gas sensor module.
