Description
The Gravity: Analog Flame Sensor is an infrared-sensitive module designed to detect fire and light wavelengths between 760 nm and 1100 nm. It outputs a proportional analog signal, making it ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers building autonomous fire-fighting robots, soccer bots, or flame-monitoring systems.
Targeted flame and infrared detection
The sensor detects light wavelengths from 760 nm to 1100 nm across a 60-degree probe angle, producing an analog output proportional to flame intensity. It operates at temperatures from -25 to 85 degrees Celsius and should be kept at a safe distance from open flames to avoid heat damage.

Wide voltage and board support
Operating across a 3.3V to 5V supply range, this module integrates seamlessly via the standard Gravity analog interface. It is directly compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Intel Galileo, Curie, and Joule development boards.

Fast and responsive range
With a rapid 15-microsecond response time, the sensor tracks fire sources quickly in dynamic robotics competitions. It provides detection across distances ranging from 20 cm at 4.8V to 100 cm at 1V.
Durable design and mounting
The 22 mm by 30 mm board features an immersion gold surface, high-quality connector, and clear analog visual icons. Two M3 mounting holes placed at standard 5 cm multiples enable secure installation onto various robotic chassis.
Included in the box
Each package includes one Gravity analog flame sensor module and one analog sensor connection cable.
