Description
The Gravity Analog Dissolved Oxygen Sensor Kit allows you to measure dissolved oxygen levels in water to monitor aquatic health and water quality accurately. Featuring a galvanic probe with zero polarisation wait time, it interfaces easily with popular microcontrollers including Arduino, ESP32, and Raspberry Pi. It is ideally suited for students, educators, and hobbyists working on aquaculture monitoring, hydroponics, or environmental science setups.
Galvanic probe for instant measurement
Unlike polarographic alternatives, the included galvanic probe requires no polarisation time and remains ready for testing immediately. It offers a measurement range of 0 to 20 mg/L with up to 98% full response within 90 seconds at 25 degrees Celsius.
Wide voltage microcontroller compatibility
The signal converter board operates across a 3.3V to 5.5V power supply and outputs a 0 to 3.0V analog signal via the standard Gravity 3-pin interface. This plug-and-play design ensures compatibility with any development board equipped with an ADC, such as Arduino or ESP32.

Low-maintenance replaceable design
The probe utilizes a replaceable membrane cap and filling solution reservoir, keeping upkeep simple and economical. The electrode has an operating service life of one year under normal conditions, with membrane caps lasting up to 5 months in clean water.
Filling solution requirements
Due to shipping regulations on alkaline liquids, the required 0.5 mol/L NaOH filling solution is not included in the kit and must be sourced or prepared locally before use. Always wear protective gloves when filling the membrane cap, as the solution is corrosive.
Complete hardware package
The kit includes the galvanic DO probe with a 2-metre cable, a spare membrane cap, the signal converter board, and a Gravity analog sensor cable. It also includes two waterproof gaskets, a BNC connector screw cap, and two plastic droppers for filling.
