Description
The Gravity Analog 20A Current Sensor is an ACS712 Hall-effect sensor board designed to measure both AC and DC currents. It provides an analog voltage output for straightforward reading, making it ideal for students, makers, and hobbyists building automation and power monitoring systems.
Hall-effect AC and DC current sensing
Powered by the ACS712 IC, this sensor measures current ranges from 0 to ±20A DC and 0 to 17A RMS AC with ±3% relative error. It converts measured current into a proportional analog voltage for easy integration with standard microcontrollers.
Integrated isolation and safety plate
The circuit features built-in high-voltage isolation rated to endure up to 220V AC and 311V DC. A non-conductive acrylic plate is affixed to the underside of the PCB to safeguard against short circuits and accidental contact.
Standard Gravity 3-pin connectivity
Equipped with a Gravity PH2.0-3P connector, the sensor connects directly to Arduino-compatible expansion shields without requiring any soldering. It operates from a standard +5.0V power supply.

Compact footprint and included cable
Measuring 39 x 22 x 17mm and weighing 18g, the compact module fits easily into confined project enclosures. Each unit comes supplied with one 20A current sensor and one Gravity analog sensor cable.
