Description
The Gravity: Air Pressure Sensor (15-700kPa) is an Arduino-compatible module powered by the MPX5700AP sensor for measuring air pressure in closed systems and open environments. It is ideal for students, educators, and makers developing pipeline monitoring systems, fluid dynamics rigs, or school science experiments.
Wide pressure measuring range
The sensor measures air pressure from 15 to 700 kPa with an accuracy deviation under 2.5% and a resolution of 1 kPa or better. It allows quick calibration against known pressure values for reliable, repeatable readings.
Convenient I2C digital interface
Digital data is communicated directly over an I2C bus with a 0 to 3V signal level. This simplifies wiring to microcontrollers and leaves analogue pins free for other project peripherals.
Broad operating voltage and low power
Operating across 3.3V to 5.5V DC, the board draws only 0.06W at 5V. It withstands operating temperatures from 0 to 85 degrees Celsius and features a compact 32mm by 43mm footprint.
Pipeline and laboratory applications
This module is suited for measuring pressure inside industrial or model pipelines as well as physics and natural science demonstrations. The included Gravity 4-pin I2C cable allows immediate connection to compatible expansion shields.
