Gravity: 32KB I2C EEPROM Memory Module for Arduino UNO / Leonardo

The Gravity: 32KB I2C EEPROM Memory Module provides an additional 32KB (256 Kbit) of non-volatile data storage over a standard two-wire I2C interface. Designed for makers, students, and educators working with memory-constrained boards like the Arduino UNO and Leonardo, it provides reliable space for storing project logs, calibration values, and user settings.

Expanded non-volatile project storage

Offering 32K x 8 bits of EEPROM, this module overcomes the limited onboard storage of microcontrollers such as the Arduino UNO and Leonardo. Ready-to-use Arduino read and write routines help save development time when integrating memory into your sketches.

Selectable I2C addresses via DIP switch

The onboard DIP switch allows you to choose between eight distinct I2C addresses. This feature prevents bus address conflicts and allows you to daisy-chain multiple memory modules to expand capacity further.

Solderless Gravity interface connectivity

Equipped with a standard 4-pin Gravity I2C connector, the module links directly to expansion shields without requiring any soldering. A compatible Gravity I2C/UART sensor cable is supplied in the box.

Low-power wide-voltage operation

Built using low-power CMOS technology, the board operates across a 2.5V to 5.5V supply range. It draws a maximum read current of 400 uA at 5.5V (400 kHz) and consumes at most 1 uA on standby at 3.6V, with a working temperature range of -40 deg C to +125 deg C.

Compact footprint and mounting

The module measures 30.00 mm by 21.05 mm, weighs 10 g, and features a 3.5 mm mounting hole for secure mechanical installation inside project enclosures.
