Description
The GPIO V2.2 breakout expansion board extends the 26-pin General Purpose Input Output interface of compatible Raspberry Pi boards for prototyping. It includes an integrated power LED indicator that provides immediate visual feedback and turns off if a short circuit occurs. This expansion board is well suited to students, makers, and hobbyists building and testing custom hardware circuits.
GPIO breakout connectivity
This expansion board connects to the 26-pin General Purpose Input Output header on Raspberry Pi Model A and B boards. It enables straightforward access to input and output lines for prototyping and hardware development.
Power and short-circuit monitoring
An onboard LED indicator lights up to confirm power is flowing actively through the board. If a short circuit occurs during circuit assembly, the indicator LED turns off to assist with fast fault identification.
