Flex Sensor 4.5" Bend Resistor (60KΩ-110KΩ Range)

The Flex Sensor 4.5" Bend Resistor is an analogue resistive sensor that increases its resistance as it is bent. Featuring patented Spectra Symbol technology, it is ideal for students, makers, and robotics engineers developing wearable interfaces, robotic grippers, and angular measurement projects.

Dynamic bend resistance range

The sensor features a flat base resistance of 10KΩ (±30% tolerance) that increases to between 60KΩ and 110KΩ when flexed. Resistance changes accurately when the metal pads are oriented on the outside of the bend with the text on the inside.

Breadboard-friendly 0.1" connection

Equipped with standard 0.1-inch pin spacing, this sensor plugs directly into breadboards and prototyping sockets. This allows for quick integration into microcontroller analogue inputs with a simple voltage divider circuit.

Durable mechanical lifespan

Engineered for continuous use, the sensor is rated for over 1 million life cycles. It provides dependable performance in dynamic robotics mechanisms and interactive wearables.

Ultra-thin operating profile

With a thickness of just 0.43mm (0.017"), the sensor easily integrates into tight physical spaces. It functions reliably across an operational temperature range of -35°C to +80°C.
