Description
The FireBeetle Covers 24×8 LED Matrix Display is an add-on board featuring yellow LEDs driven by an HT1632C controller. Designed to pair with FireBeetle microcontrollers, it is well suited for makers, students, and developers creating compact IoT readouts and embedded visual projects.
Vibrant 24x8 LED layout
The display provides a 24-column by 8-row matrix of yellow LEDs for displaying data, simple graphics, and status alerts. The grid offers clear visual output in a compact modular footprint.
Dedicated HT1632C driver
An onboard HT1632C matrix driver manages the LEDs, offloading display timing and control from your main microcontroller. This simplifies software development and keeps data communication efficient.
16-level PWM brightness control
The display features 16-level PWM brightness adjustment, allowing you to adapt illumination to varying ambient light environments. This granular control also assists in reducing overall power consumption.
Built-in scrolling text support
Native scrolling text support makes it easy to present longer alphanumeric messages and data feeds. Information smoothly traverses the 24 columns without requiring complex manual frame management.
5uA low-power standby mode
A dedicated 5uA low-power mode significantly reduces energy draw during idle periods. This ultra-low current consumption makes the board suitable for battery-operated IoT deployments.
