Description
The FireBeetle 328P Low-Power Arduino Board pairs a classic ATmega328P microcontroller with an onboard DIALOG Bluetooth Low Energy 4.1 chip. Designed for energy-sensitive wearable tech and portable smart devices, it delivers reliable wireless connectivity alongside ultra-low standby power. It is ideal for students, educators, and makers creating battery-operated IoT projects.
Low-power ATmega328P processing
Running at 8MHz on 3.3V, the board is programmed via the Arduino IDE using the standard Arduino Pro or Pro Mini bootloader. It achieves ultra-low energy consumption with a 25µA power-down standby current and a 70µA current when interrupts are enabled.

Integrated DIALOG Bluetooth 4.1
The onboard DIALOG BLE 4.1 chipset supports transmission rates up to 4KB/s and offers full compatibility with the Bluno ecosystem. It allows switching between central and peripheral roles, serial data transmission, and peer-to-peer wireless programming.

Multi-device cascading and KISS connection
The board supports cascading up to four BLE devices and features fast KISS approach pairing by holding the host BOOT button near a peripheral. Dual wakeup interrupts let the BLE module wake the ATmega328P via D2 and the processor wake the radio via D3.

Lithium battery charging and power management
Power the board directly from a 3.7V lithium battery or through an external 3.7V to 5.5V VCC input. An integrated charging circuit manages battery charging up to 400mA, while the onboard 3.3V LDO regulator delivers up to 600mA output current.
Versatile I/O and compact form factor
Measuring 58 x 29 mm, the board breaks out 14 digital I/O pins, 6 analog inputs, SPI, I2C, UART, and a built-in LED on pin D13. It includes both male and female 2.54mm pitch headers to suit breadboards and custom prototyping setups.
