Description

The Fermion SHT31-F Digital Temperature and Humidity Sensor Breakout provides factory-calibrated environmental readings over an I2C interface. Equipped with an IP67-rated PTFE filter membrane, it maintains high precision even in dusty or damp conditions. It is well suited to students, makers, and engineers developing IoT weather stations, agricultural monitors, and smart home automation.

High-accuracy CMOSens technology

Built around Sensirion's SHT31-F IC, this module combines capacitive humidity sensing and band-gap temperature detection with on-chip signal conditioning. It delivers typical accuracies of ±2%RH across 0%RH to 100%RH at 25°C and ±0.2°C from 0°C to 90°C without requiring external calibration routines.

IP67 PTFE protective membrane

An integrated PTFE membrane shields the sensing opening from water spray, droplets, and airborne dust particles. Thanks to high water-vapour permeability, the sensor retains fast response times and dependable accuracy in challenging agricultural and outdoor monitoring installations.

Broad controller compatibility

Operating across a 2.15V to 5.5V supply range, the breakout is fully compatible with both 3.3V and 5V logic levels. It communicates via standard I2C, enabling quick integration with microcontrollers such as Arduino, micro:bit, and ESP32.

Compact footprint and hardware

Measuring only 19 mm by 16 mm with a 15 mm mounting hole pitch, the board easily fits into compact enclosures. The package includes one SHT31-F breakout board and a 2.54 mm 6-pin header for breadboard prototyping.
