Description
The Fermion MCP42100 is a dual-channel digital potentiometer breakout designed for microcontroller-driven resistance adjustment. It is an ideal component for makers, students, and engineers building programmable analogue circuits and automated calibration systems.
Dual 100KΩ resistance channels
The breakout features two independent 100KΩ potentiometer channels on a single module. This dual-channel design allows you to control two separate analogue circuit paths simultaneously.
Precise 256-step resolution
Each channel provides 256 wiper positions for granular resistance tuning. This delivers smooth, accurate control for variable gain, volume, or reference voltage applications.
Standard SPI interface
The board uses an SPI communication interface to receive direct resistance settings from your host microcontroller. This enables fast, reliable updates for dynamic circuit adjustments.
Wide operating voltage range
Operating across 2.7V to 5.5V, this module is directly compatible with both 3.3V and 5V development platforms. It integrates cleanly into low-power microcontroller setups without extra level shifting.
