Description

The Fermion H3LIS200DL is an ultra-low-power, high-g triple-axis accelerometer breakout board designed for capturing extreme motion events. With user-selectable ranges of up to plus-minus 200g, it is ideal for makers, students, and engineers developing impact-monitoring and collision-detection projects.

High-g range and adjustable data rates

The sensor supports user-selectable measurement scales of plus-minus 100g and plus-minus 200g with 8-bit data output. It accommodates data output rates ranging from 0.5Hz up to 1kHz for capturing rapid, dynamic movements.

Flexible I2C and SPI interfacing

The module connects via standard I2C or SPI digital interfaces running at a 3.3V operating voltage. The default I2C address is set to 0x19 and can be switched to 0x18 to suit multi-device bus setups.

Programmable interrupts and smart power management

Two independent programmable interrupt engines detect specific inertial events like free-fall and high-speed impacts. A smart sleep-to-wake feature keeps idle current as low as 10uA, rising to only 0.3mA to 0.4mA during normal operation.

Robust build and high shock resistance

Engineered for harsh testing conditions, the sensor boasts shock survivability of up to 10000g. It operates reliably across a wide temperature range of minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius within a compact 15 by 20 mm footprint.
