The Fermion: DFPlayer Pro is a compact, dual-channel audio playback module equipped with 128MB of on-board flash storage. Compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi, it is ideal for makers, students, and engineers adding high-fidelity voice prompts, sound effects, or music playback to embedded projects.
On-board 128MB high-speed storage
The module includes 128MB of integrated storage that mounts directly as an analogue U-disk via USB. This allows for straightforward drag-and-drop file copying without needing external micro-SD cards.
High-fidelity lossless audio decoding
Equipped with a 24-bit DAC, the DFPlayer Pro delivers clear dual-channel stereo output. It supports a comprehensive range of audio formats including MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, FLAC, and APE.
Versatile control and interface modes
You can trigger and manage audio playback using UART AT commands, microcontrollers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi, or physical ADKEY and on-board button inputs. It can also operate as a direct USB sound card.
Compact design for custom projects
Measuring only 23 x 24.5 mm and operating between 3.3V and 5V, the module easily fits into DIY toys, personalised gifts, musical alarm clocks, and voice alarm equipment.
Included hardware and pin headers
Each pack includes one DFPlayer Pro module along with two 2.54mm 6-pin single-row headers for simple breadboard or PCB mounting.
