Description
The Fermion AHT20 is a high-precision, cost-effective temperature and humidity breakout board equipped with an improved MEMS semiconductor capacitive sensing element. Operating from 2V to 5V DC over a standard I2C interface, it provides reliable environmental data for students, hobbyists, and professional makers.
Standard I2C digital interface
The module communicates over standard I2C using the 0x38 address and accepts a wide 2V to 5V supply voltage. Its simplified peripheral circuitry ensures straightforward wiring to microcontrollers and high resistance to interference.
Accurate environmental sensing range
The sensor measures relative humidity from 0 to 100% RH with an accuracy error of ±2% RH and resolution of 0.024% RH. It measures temperatures from -40℃ to 85℃ with an accuracy of ±0.3℃ and 0.01℃ resolution.
Long-term stability and fast response
Equipped with an advanced MEMS capacitive element, the sensor exhibits low long-term drift of under 0.5% RH and 0.04℃ per year. It delivers fast measurement response times of 8 seconds for humidity and between 5 to 30 seconds for temperature.
Broad automation and monitoring applications
This sensor board is suitable for weather stations, HVAC systems, data loggers, dehumidifiers, and automotive environmental monitoring. Its robust construction allows stable operation even in challenging operating conditions.
Package contents and compact dimensions
The breakout board measures 30mm by 20.5mm to fit neatly into tight enclosures or breadboards. Each pack includes one AHT20 sensor module and one 2.54mm 4-pin single-row pin header.
