Fermion: ADKey Board -10 Keys (Breakout)

The Fermion ADKey Board is a compact 10-button keypad breakout designed for direct audio module control and micro-controller input expansion. It is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers looking to add tactile controls to audio and robotics projects without complex wiring or wasted pins.

Direct audio module control

This breakout directly drives the DFPlayer Pro, DFPlayer Mini, and compatible voice recording modules without requiring programming or extra resistors. It bypasses the need for a micro-controller to manage control logic, streamlining standalone audio builds.

Single analog port expansion

When connected to a development board, the module provides 10 distinct button inputs over a single analog pin. This significantly conserves available input and output resources for other sensors and actuators.

Versatile board layout

The module features standard 6x6x7 mm pushbuttons on a compact 40x40 mm board. Dedicated solder pads on both sides allow you to wire external keys to suit custom enclosures and mechanical layouts.

Wide operating voltage

Operating across a 3.3V to 5V supply range, the board integrates seamlessly with standard 3.3V and 5V logic micro-controllers and audio hardware.

Included accessories

Each unit includes one 10-key ADKey breakout board and one 2.54 mm 10-pin black single-row header for quick prototyping on breadboards or custom carrier boards.
