Fermion: 2.0" 320x240 IPS TFT LCD Display with MicroSD Card (Breakout)

The Fermion 2.0-inch IPS TFT LCD Display Breakout provides a crisp 320x240 colour screen powered by the ST7789V driver chip. Featuring wide viewing angles, standard 4-wire SPI communication, and a plug-and-play GDI port, it is ideal for makers, students, and hobbyists building microcontroller-driven graphics projects.

Vivid wide-angle IPS display

The 2.0-inch screen delivers 16-bit RGB565 colour across 320x240 pixels with a typical brightness of 250 cd/m2. Its IPS panel offers wide 80/80/80/80 viewing angles, ensuring clear visual output for waveform monitors, weather displays, and digital clocks.

Dual SPI and GDI connectivity

The module supports standard 4-wire SPI communication as well as a dedicated GDI interface. Connecting via GDI to compatible boards such as the FireBeetle M0 significantly reduces wiring complexity with plug-and-play operation.

Flexible voltage and board compatibility

Operating on an input range of 3.3V to 5.5V with a low typical current draw of 29mA, the display works seamlessly with a variety of microcontrollers. Compatible boards include Arduino Uno, Leonardo, ESP32, ESP8266, and FireBeetle M0.

Onboard MicroSD card slot

An integrated MicroSD card slot enables direct image storage and retrieval for bitmap rendering and graphic-heavy interfaces. Note that a MicroSD card is not included and must be purchased separately.

Compact footprint and included hardware

Measuring 35.70 x 60.00 mm with 2mm mounting holes, the breakout board fits easily into tight enclosures. It comes complete with a 10-pin male header and a 10cm 18-pin reverse-direction FPC cable.
