The Fermion 1.8-inch TFT LCD breakout features a 128x160 resolution screen powered by the ST7735S driver chip and an integrated MicroSD card slot. It offers versatile 4-wire SPI communication alongside pin header and GDI wiring options. It is well suited for makers, educators, and electronics hobbyists looking to add visual feedback to embedded projects.

Clear colour display

The 1.8-inch screen offers a 128x160 resolution across a 26 mm by 35 mm active display area. It provides a 120-degree viewing angle with a full-screen power consumption of just 0.11 W.

Dual interface wiring options

Communicate using standard 4-wire SPI via pin headers or plug directly into FireBeetle controllers using the General Display Interface (GDI). The display supports plug-and-play connection via the included GDI cable.

Integrated MicroSD card slot

An onboard MicroSD slot enables microcontrollers to easily read and render full-colour bitmap graphics. This allows projects to load UI elements, icons, and pictures directly from external storage.

Versatile embedded applications

Operating between 3.3 V and 5 V with an operating temperature range of -10 to +60 degrees Celsius, this display is built for broad microcontroller compatibility. Typical use cases include fan controllers, Arduino temperature monitors, and sensor alarms.

Compact board layout and accessories

The 34 mm by 55 mm board features 2 mm mounting holes positioned with 29 mm and 50 mm spacing. Each unit includes a GDI display cable and a 10-pin header connector for quick setup.
