Description
The Fermion 1.51-inch transparent monochrome OLED display module provides a futuristic see-through light blue visual readout powered by the SSD1309 driver chip. It is ideal for makers, students, and hobbyists building interactive desktop gadgets, smart home indicators, or layered 3D display setups. Operating at 3.3V, the kit includes a dedicated breakout converter board for easy integration with standard microcontrollers.
Dual SPI and GDI interface
The compact 18 x 28 mm converter board supports both SPI and GDI wiring interfaces for straightforward microcontroller integration. Display code samples are available to assist with quick setup and graphics rendering.
Straightforward hardware connection
The breakout board connects cleanly to development hardware using the included 7-pin header and 18-pin reverse direction FPC cable. It operates reliably across a working temperature range of -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.
Transparent OLED screen specifications
The 1.51-inch light blue display provides a full viewing angle with a 0.274 x 0.274 mm pixel pitch. The panel measures 42 x 27 mm with a 128 x 64 resolution, offering 128 x 56 completely transparent pixels and a small non-transparent section near the pins.

The see-through design suits DIY desktop monitors, smart home status gauges, interactive exhibition booths, and 3D displays. Its 3.3V operating voltage aligns with standard modern microcontroller logic levels.
