Dual-Channel DC Motor Driver-12A

The Dual-Channel DC Motor Driver-12A is a compact motor driver designed to power and control two DC motors simultaneously at voltages from 6.5V to 37V. Featuring built-in electrical safety circuits and 3V to 5V logic compatibility, it is ideal for students, hobbyists, and makers building autonomous robots, competition entries, and mechatronic systems.

High continuous and peak output

Each channel delivers up to 12A continuous current with a momentary peak capability of 70A for roughly 100ms. The driver supports motors up to 290W total power across an operating voltage range of 6.5V to 37V DC.

Comprehensive circuit protection and status indicator

Built-in protection safeguards against over-voltage at 37.5V, under-voltage at 6.3V, and overheating between 85°C and 95°C by cutting motor output. An onboard STATE LED displays operational status, flashing rapidly for over-voltage, slowly for under-voltage, and double-flashing during overheat conditions.

Fine timing and direction feedback

Optimised internal timing allows the driver to respond to PWM input pulse widths as narrow as 2us for precise dynamic motor control. Visual feedback is provided by dedicated channel LEDs that glow blue for forward rotation and red for reverse.
