Description

The Digital Laser Adjustable Proximity Sensor is a high-precision distance detection module offering an adjustable sensing range between 1cm and 400cm. Built with an IP67 waterproof and fireproof enclosure, it delivers a direct digital high/low output for seamless integration with microcontrollers. It is ideally suited for students, makers, and engineers developing outdoor robotics, AGV navigation, smart parking, and automation projects using Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

Adjustable long-range laser detection

Utilising 940nm laser diffuse reflection technology, this sensor detects targets across a 1cm to 400cm range with ±4% accuracy. The detection distance can be calibrated directly using the onboard physical button without writing any code.

IP67 waterproof and fireproof housing

Designed for harsh indoor and outdoor environments, the sensor features an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating alongside a PC-V0 fireproof housing. It operates reliably in ambient temperatures from -20°C to 70°C without requiring secondary protective enclosures.

Digital microcontroller integration

Operating across a wide 5V to 24V DC supply, the sensor provides a clean digital high/low level output mode. It interfaces directly with Arduino development boards, Raspberry Pi, and standard IO expansion shields.

Integrated short-circuit protection

The active detection sensor runs at a low 15mA operating current and automatically disables output if load current exceeds 1A. It is certified to CE and RoHS international safety and environmental standards.

Versatile industrial and robotic applications

Featuring a 35° transmission angle and 25° reception angle, the sensor delivers rapid obstacle detection. It is ideal for warehouse AGV navigation, conveyor material height monitoring, automated farming equipment, and outdoor parking bays.
