Description
The DC-DC Buck Boost Converter Module (5A) provides versatile power regulation across an input range of 6V to 35V and an adjustable output range of 1.0V to 33V. Featuring automatic step-up and step-down capability, it maintains a stable target voltage regardless of whether the supply voltage is higher or lower than the output. It is ideal for makers, students, and engineers powering DIY smart power supplies, robotics, and embedded systems.
Automatic buck-boost voltage regulation
The module automatically steps voltage up or down to maintain a stable output between 1.0V and 33V from an input of 6V to 35V. This ensures consistent power delivery to sensitive electronics even as battery voltage fluctuates during discharge.
High efficiency power delivery
Achieving up to 90% conversion efficiency, the converter minimises energy loss and thermal waste during operation. It supports a maximum input current of 7A and delivers up to 5A of output current.
Onboard controls and terminal layout
The module features dedicated input and output terminal blocks alongside an onboard output indicator LED. Output voltage is precisely set using the integrated adjustment potentiometer.

Thermal management considerations
When operating at high power, users should implement appropriate heat dissipation to prevent overheating and maintain reliable performance. A working margin is recommended below the maximum 7A input and 5A output ratings during continuous use.
Versatile embedded and DIY applications
Measuring 70 x 39 x 32 mm, the board is suited for industrial equipment, embedded hardware, and DIY battery-powered setups. It provides reliable regulation for demanding 5V microcontrollers and single-board computers powered by lithium battery packs.
