DC-DC Boost Power Supply Module (5PCS)

This five-pack of compact DC-DC boost power supply modules steps up low DC inputs starting from 2.5V to selectable 5V, 8V, 9V, or 12V outputs. Selectable DC voltage stepping

The module accepts an input from 2.5V up to VOUT and boosts it to a preset 5V, 8V, 9V, or 12V output, defaulting to 12V out of the box. It achieves a conversion efficiency of at least 80% across standard operational loads.

Solder pad output configuration

Users can adjust the target output voltage by bridging or clearing the A and B solder pads located on the front of the board. Configuration details for each voltage mode are clearly referenced on the reverse side of the PCB.

Output current capabilities

When powered by a 3.7V input, the board supplies up to 1A at 5V, 0.5A at 8V, 0.45A at 9V, and 0.3A at 12V. With a 5V input, it provides 0.7A at 8V, 0.6A at 9V, and 0.5A at 12V.

Compact layout and status indicator

Its miniature footprint allows easy integration into tight enclosures and embedded hardware setups. An on-board LED indicator gives immediate visual feedback of the module power state.

Essential wiring precautions

The module does not include reverse polarity protection, requiring careful verification of power connections before energising. Additionally, the supply input voltage must remain lower than the selected output voltage to prevent component damage.
