The CS30 is an RGB-D Time-of-Flight depth camera engineered for spatial perception, vision tracking, and environmental mapping. Equipped with high-definition colour imaging and a wide field of view, it suits robotics developers, researchers, and makers building intelligent autonomous systems.

Time-of-flight depth sensing

The sensor uses Time-of-Flight technology to measure distances across an operational range of 0.1 m to 5 m. This provides accurate depth data essential for close-range detection and room-scale environmental scanning.

Full HD colour imaging

An integrated 1080P colour camera captures clear RGB imagery alongside depth measurements. Combining colour and spatial data enables robust interactive AI vision, visual tracking, and object classification.

Wide field of view

A 100° horizontal by 75° vertical field of view allows the unit to monitor broad scenes without requiring constant panning. This expanded perspective improves obstacle detection and spatial awareness in mobile robotics.

ROS and SLAM support

The camera is tailored for simultaneous localisation and mapping (SLAM), 3D reconstruction, and ROS-based robotics pipelines. It feeds real-time depth streams directly into standard spatial navigation and AI frameworks.
