Capacitive Fingerprint Sensor / Scanner (UART, 80 Fingerprints)

This compact UART capacitive fingerprint scanner provides fast, standalone biometric capture, storage, and matching for up to 80 fingerprints. Driven by an onboard ID809 processor with the IDfinger6.0 algorithm, it delivers 360-degree recognition and adaptive self-learning. It is ideal for students, makers, and hobbyists building secure access control and authentication projects.

Standalone biometric processing

Driven by an ID809 processor and IDfinger6.0 algorithm, the module handles capture, image processing, storage, and comparison independently. It delivers rapid 1:1 verification in 300 to 400 milliseconds.

360-degree self-learning recognition

The semiconductor sensor supports 360-degree arbitrary angle matching and deep self-learning to improve accuracy over time. It can store and manage up to 80 individual fingerprint templates onboard.

UART interface and Arduino support

The scanner communicates via standard 3.3V UART and works with an Arduino library for simple fingerprint registration and deletion. Supporting upper computer software is also available for direct configuration.

Compact CNC metal enclosure

Measuring 21mm in diameter and 6mm in height, the module features a CNC metal ring, an 8.0mm by 8.0mm sensing area, and integrated round breathing LEDs for visual feedback.

Access control and authorization applications

With a 508dpi resolution and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 60°C, the sensor is well suited for fingerprint door locks, secure drawer locks, and custom identity verification systems.

Included connection hardware

The package includes one capacitive fingerprint scanner and a PH1.0 6-pin cable for wiring directly to your microcontroller.
