The BOSON Drip Irrigation Kit is a hands-on STEM learning set designed for building automated plant watering and environmental monitoring projects. It offers students, educators, and makers an applied way to explore sustainable technology and climate action. This pack does not include a main development board and is designed to pair with your existing micro:bit or UNIHIKER K10.
Soil moisture sensing
The kit incorporates a soil moisture sensor to track ground hydration in real time. This allows projects to trigger watering routines only when the soil becomes too dry.
Water level monitoring
Integrated water level detection monitors the available liquid in your supply reservoir. This helps prevent the system from attempting to pump when water is depleted.
Programmable pump control
A programmable water pump automates delivery directly to plant roots based on sensor readings. Learners can code customised schedules and threshold-based watering logic.
Controller board compatibility
This setup is tailored for seamless integration with either a BBC micro:bit or a UNIHIKER K10 board. Please note that the target development board must be purchased separately.
