The BOSON Drip Irrigation Kit with UNIHIKER K10 is a hands-on STEM education kit designed to teach smart agriculture and water conservation principles. Suitable for learners aged eight and up, it combines environmental sensors with automated watering logic to explore real-world sustainability concepts. The bundle includes the complete BOSON drip irrigation hardware along with the UNIHIKER K10 single-board AI computer.
Climate action and smart agriculture
Centred on UN Sustainable Development Goal 15 (Life on Land), this kit tasks learners with constructing a functional rainwater harvesting and automated drip irrigation model. Students address real-world water scarcity challenges by turning environmental theory into a working physical project.
Curriculum-aligned modular construction
Designed for beginners, the visual step-by-step curriculum aligns with NGSS and CSTA educational standards. The colourful, Lego-compatible BOSON modules connect easily to support drag-and-drop graphical programming without complex wiring.

Closed-loop sensing and automated watering
Students connect and program a soil moisture sensor and a water level sensor to monitor plant and reservoir conditions. The controller processes this data to drive a water pump automatically, reinforcing fundamental logic and closed-loop control principles.

UNIHIKER K10 single-board computer
Powered by an ESP32-S3 processor with 512KB SRAM and 16MB flash, the UNIHIKER K10 features a 2.8-inch 240x320 screen, 2MP camera, microphone, speaker, and environmental sensors. It arrives pre-loaded with AI models for face detection, image recognition, motion tracking, and local speech recognition.
Dual platform compatibility and expansion
The BOSON hardware interfaces with both the UNIHIKER K10 and standard micro:bit boards. As learners progress, the modular system can be expanded with additional BOSON sensors and output modules for advanced projects.

Complete classroom-ready hardware pack
The bundle includes a building block expansion board, water level sensor, soil moisture sensor, 5V water pump, plastic containers, building blocks, tubing, connectors, and adjustable drippers. A Type-C USB cable and all necessary 3-pin connection cables are included.
