Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Playback Module (Bluetooth 4.0)

The Bluetooth Audio Receiver and Playback Module is a versatile audio board designed for hobbyists, makers, and students looking to upgrade existing sound hardware. It enables you to add wireless Bluetooth 4.0 streaming to car sound systems or convert standard wired loudspeakers into wireless units.

Multiple audio inputs and decoding formats

The module accepts audio input via Bluetooth, USB flash drives, and TF memory cards. It features built-in decoding for MP3, WMA, WAV, and lossless FLAC audio files.

Direct speaker output and amplifier connectivity

Equipped with a pre-amp output, the board can directly power headphones or a 3W speaker. You can also route the output into an active power amplifier to drive larger loudspeakers.

On-board controls and built-in equaliser

Audio playback is managed directly through on-board push buttons. An integrated sound equaliser is included to let you tailor the acoustic profile to your preferences.

Microphone interface and remote control support

The module features a dedicated MIC port for handling phone calls or recording when paired over Bluetooth. It also includes support for IR remote control functionality for wireless track and volume adjustments.

Compact dimensions and micro-USB power

Powered via a 5V DC Micro-USB connection, the board measures 40 by 53 mm and weighs 12g. Its compact size makes it suitable for integration into tight project enclosures or automotive dashes.
