Description
The Beetle RP2040 is an ultra-compact microcontroller board powered by Raspberry Pi's dual-core RP2040 chip. Measuring just 27mm by 20mm, it is an ideal platform for students, hobbyists, and makers building space-constrained embedded electronics and wearable projects.
Raspberry Pi dual-core processing
Powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex-M0+ processor running up to 133MHz, the board includes 264KB of internal RAM and 2MB of flash storage. This offers ample speed and memory for complex control routines and sensor data collection.
Ultra-compact miniature footprint
With dimensions of only 27mm by 20mm, the board embeds effortlessly into small gadgets, custom stage props, and discreet desktop equipment.
Beginner-friendly immersion gold pads
The board features large 4mm by 3.5mm immersion gold soldering pads spaced at a standard 2.54mm pitch. This layout significantly lowers the difficulty of hand soldering for beginners while ensuring reliable connections.
Flexible peripheral connectivity
Eight carefully selected GPIO pins provide access to 2 I2C, 2 UART, 1 SPI, 8 digital ports, and 2 analogue inputs. A USB Type-C connector supplies power and supports USB 1.1 device communication.
Broad programming language support
Developers can write code using C++, MicroPython, Arduino C, or Mind+ graphical software. Onboard Reset and BOOT buttons, combined with a built-in user LED, simplify development and debugging workflows.
