Description
The Beetle CM-32U4 is an ultra-compact microcontroller board based on the ATmega32U4 with integrated lithium battery charge management. Measuring just 22mm by 20.5mm, it provides native Arduino Leonardo compatibility for makers, educators, and students building compact DIY electronics and wearable tech.
Compact layout with pin headers
Measuring only 22mm by 20.5mm, this board upgrades traditional solder pads to standard pin connectors for easier prototyping. It breaks out essential interfaces including one I2C, one SPI, one UART, two analogue pins, two digital pins, dual ground lines, and a 5V power output.
Integrated lithium battery charging
An onboard charge management circuit allows lithium batteries to connect directly via dedicated pins, eliminating the need for bulky external charger modules. The charging current operates between 200mA and 600mA for safe, compact portable power.
Versatile triple power input options
The board supports three flexible power sources: standard USB, a battery pack on the BAT pin, or a 5V external supply on the VIN pin. This multi-supply capability allows the board to function seamlessly without interruption when switching between sources.
Native Arduino Leonardo compatibility
Running on official Leonardo firmware, the controller works directly in the Arduino IDE without requiring extra core installations. It operates at 5V DC and is rated for temperatures ranging from -40 to 125 degrees Celsius.
Ideal for wearables and workshops
The miniature footprint and onboard power management make this controller ideal for e-textiles, interactive gift builds, and classroom workshops. Each package includes one Beetle CM-32U4 board and two 8-pin 2.54mm headers.
