Description
The Arduino GIGA R1 WiFi Development Board brings dual-core 32-bit processing power to the classic Mega and Due footprint. Designed for advanced makers, robotics engineers, and IoT developers, it delivers high-speed computing alongside extensive peripheral connectivity.
Dual-core 32-bit processing
Powered by an STM32H747XI microcontroller pairing a 480 MHz Cortex-M7 with a Cortex-M4 core, the board can execute two tasks simultaneously, such as running MicroPython in parallel with Arduino code. It features 2MB dual-bank flash, 1MB SRAM, 8MB SDRAM, and 16MB QSPI NOR flash.

Built-in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth
Wireless communication is handled by an onboard Murata 1DX module supporting 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.1 with an external antenna connector. This setup allows seamless integration with the Arduino IoT Cloud for secure remote control and monitoring.

High-density pin layout
Maintaining the classic 101 x 53mm Mega footprint, the board breaks out 76 digital I/O pins operating at 3.3V. Peripheral options include 12 PWM outputs, 14 analog inputs, 2 DAC channels, 4 UARTs, 3 I2C buses, 2 SPI interfaces, and CAN bus support.

Hardware architecture and power
The system includes Chrom-ART graphical acceleration, a 2x5 1.27mm JTAG debugging connector, and wide-range input power handling from 6V up to 24V.

Dual USB and multimedia support
A USB-C port handles power, programming, and HID emulation for keyboard or mouse simulation, while a dedicated USB 2.0 Type-A host port supports mass storage devices. Additional multimedia features include a 3.5mm audio input/output jack and a 20-pin Arducam camera and display header.
