A01NYUB Waterproof Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (28~750cm, UART, IP67)

The A01NYUB is a rugged, IP67-rated waterproof ultrasonic distance sensor engineered to measure ranges from 28cm up to 750cm using a UART serial interface. It features integrated signal processing, 1mm resolution, and resistance to dust and smog. This module is ideal for makers, students, and engineers building outdoor robotics, vehicle reversing indicators, and automated proximity systems.

Versatile sensing angles and range

The sensor detects flat objects from 28cm up to 750cm and operates effectively even in smoggy or dusty conditions. Fitting the included removable bell-mouth expands the sensing angle to 55 degrees, while removing it narrows the angle to 40 degrees.

Arduino micro-controller integration

Operating across a 3.3V to 5V DC supply, the sensor connects directly to Arduino boards over standard serial pins. This setup enables rapid development of obstacle-avoiding robots and automated reversing alert systems.

Raspberry Pi compatibility

The module connects smoothly to Raspberry Pi single-board computers via its 9600 bps asynchronous serial interface. Pre-processed measurements stream directly to the host, saving processor overhead on complex timing calculations.

Durable IP67 weatherproof construction

Equipped with a sealed probe housing both transmitter and receiver, the module delivers IP67 protection against dust and water ingress. It maintains reliable performance in operating temperatures ranging from -15°C to 60°C.

Integrated UART signal processing

All acoustic signal processing is handled internally on the module, providing a 100ms response time with 1mm resolution and ±1cm accuracy. Users can read calibrated distance data directly through the UART interface.
