Description
This 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen provides an 800x480 display and 5-point multi-touch interface for Raspberry Pi single-board computers. It connects directly via the Raspberry Pi DSI port, drawing both power and display signals without requiring separate power supplies or HDMI cables. It is ideally suited for makers, educators, and hobbyists building interactive kiosks, dashboards, and portable maker projects.
Responsive multi-touch display
The 7-inch panel delivers an 800x480 resolution with 16 million RGB888 true colours, a 60Hz refresh rate, and 280 cd/m2 brightness. Its capacitive touch panel supports up to 5 simultaneous touch points across a 154.8 x 85.92mm active area.
Seamless DSI driver integration
The display connects directly via the Raspberry Pi DSI ribbon interface, drawing its 3.3V operating power straight from the host board. This streamlined setup eliminates the clutter of secondary power bricks and external display cables.
Raspberry Pi board compatibility
Supplied with ribbon cables for Raspberry Pi 5, 4B, 3B+, and 3B models, the panel connects effortlessly to compatible DSI ports. Please note that this display is not compatible with the Raspberry Pi Pico or Raspberry Pi 400.
Integrated rear board mounting
Dedicated M2.5 mounting holes on the rear of the panel allow your Raspberry Pi to be secured directly to the display. The package includes M2.5 standoffs and machine screws to create a compact, self-contained unit.
Hardware backlight brightness control
An onboard potentiometer on the back of the display allows direct manual adjustment of the backlight brightness. This lets you easily tailor screen visibility to ambient lighting conditions without modifying software configuration files.
