5V RGB Programmable LED Strip (50cm)

This 50cm 5V programmable RGB LED strip uses COB packaging to deliver bright, seamless illumination without visible light spots. Packed with 166 addressable SK6812 LEDs, it provides flexible installation and single-wire microcontroller control. It is well suited to makers, hobbyists, and educators building custom Arduino lighting projects, displays, and decorative installations.

Uniform spotlight-free lighting

Unlike standard LED strips, this COB design uses phosphor encapsulation to blend light across 166 LEDs. The resulting output is smooth and evenly distributed with a wide 180-degree beam angle.

Board layout and control

The strip operates on a standard 5V power supply and utilises single-wire data communication. It is fully addressable and integrates easily with Arduino development boards for custom RGB patterns.

Cascading and wiring configuration

Integrated solder pads support multi-strip cascade connections for extended lighting runs. The full-colour array draws a maximum rated power of 12W across the 50cm strip.

Flexible mounting with adhesive backing

The strip bends freely to navigate tight corners and curved profiles. An adhesive backing allows quick and secure attachment to flat surfaces in compact spaces.

High-efficiency 5V performance

Built with 5050-sized SK6812 chips, the strip offers 100 lumens per LED and a 95% power factor for reliable, energy-efficient performance.
