5V COB LED Strip Light - Blue

This compact 5V COB LED strip delivers 300 lumens of uniform, shadow-free blue light from 16 integrated LEDs. Designed for makers, students, and hobbyists, it runs on standard 5V DC supplies and is ideal for custom lighting accents, models, and battery-powered electronics projects.

Compact physical dimensions

The strip measures 60 by 8 by 1.7 mm, allowing it to fit into tight spaces such as shelves, models, and enclosures. It is supplied with a separate 70 by 20 by 3 mm aluminium plate.

Uniform blue illumination

Sixteen COB LEDs produce a vibrant 465 nm blue light with a luminous flux of 300 lumens. The continuous emitter design eliminates dark spots and individual dot shadows for a seamless glow.

Protective silicone encapsulation

The surface is sealed with a protective silicone layer that safeguards the underlying emitter chips. This coating helps maintain durability and extends the operating lifespan of the strip.

Low-voltage 5V operation

Operating at DC 5V and drawing 600 mA for 3W total power, the strip is easy to run from USB ports, battery packs, or regulated bench power supplies.

Flexible wiring options

The onboard solder pads allow for straightforward wiring. Strips can be linked together in series or parallel configurations to suit your project layout.

Aluminium heat sink mounting

The strip generates heat during standard operation. Mounting it onto the included aluminium plate is recommended for extended use to prevent light decay and emitter damage.
