Description

The 4-Channel Level Converter (12V to 5V) safely bridges 12V industrial equipment with 5V logic microcontrollers such as the Arduino. Featuring onboard optocoupler isolation, it enables reliable voltage stepping, polarity conversion, and NPN to PNP signal translation across four independent channels. This module is ideal for makers, students, and automation hobbyists integrating industrial sensors and PLCs into custom electronic projects.

Four-channel optocoupler isolation

The module uses photoelectric isolation across all four channels to protect sensitive control circuitry from voltage spikes and industrial noise. It steps 12V input signals down to 5V output levels while preventing electrical ground loops.

Versatile input wiring configurations

The board accepts common anode, common cathode, and differential signal inputs to accommodate diverse sensor types. The module requires a 5V supply voltage to generate matching 5V logic outputs.

PNP output and polarity conversion

Outputs are provided in PNP format, allowing seamless NPN-to-PNP and polarity conversion for industrial signal lines. Each output channel can deliver a maximum current of 50mA.

Onboard SMD LED status indicators

Integrated SMD LEDs provide immediate visual feedback for signal transmission on each channel. This allows for quick diagnostic checks and signal verification during setup.

Standard rail and panel mounting

The converter includes a protective housing measuring 47 x 87 x 39mm that fits directly onto standard industrial rails. The internal bare board measures 45 x 72 x 19mm and includes 3mm screw holes for direct mounting.
