The 4.7-inch E-ink display for ESP32-S3 is a low-power, high-resolution development board designed for paper-like data readouts and connected smart displays. Powered by an ESP32-S3 module with generous memory, it is ideal for makers, students, and hobbyists building wireless IoT projects.

High-resolution grayscale E-ink screen

The 4.7-inch display offers a 540x960 resolution with 16 levels of grayscale and support for partial screen refresh. It provides comfortable text readability, ultra-low power consumption, and image retention even after power is disconnected.

ESP32-S3 processing power

Driven by an ESP32-S3-WROOM-1-N16R18 controller, the board includes 16MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM to handle complex graphics and wireless tasks.

Hardware controls and expansion headers

The board features three side buttons comprising two customisable input buttons and a reset switch. Expansion is supported via a 40-pin header compatible with Raspberry Pi BUS interfaces and a 6-pin touchscreen connector.

Battery management and portable power

A PH 2.0 3.7V battery socket is provided on the rear for portable deployments. Safe operation is ensured by an integrated HX6610S charge and discharge protection chip.

Thanks to its low power draw and crisp layout, the display is suited for desktop weather stations, message boards, electronic shelf labels, and STEM education projects.
