3W Mini Audio Stereo Amplifier (W2)

The 3W Mini Audio Stereo Amplifier is an ultra-compact dual-channel sound module designed to deliver stereo audio in space-constrained maker projects. Operating at over 90 percent efficiency on a 3.6V to 5V DC supply, it is ideal for students, hobbyists, and educators building robotics or standalone audio setups.

Dual-channel stereo sound output

The module provides dedicated left and right channels to produce 3W stereo surround sound at over 90 percent efficiency. When paired with a compatible stereo enclosed speaker such as the FIT0502, it operates directly without requiring complex programming.

Selectable working and sleep modes

The board features an SW control pin that defaults to active working mode when left unconnected or pulled high to 5V. Setting the SW pin low to 0V disables the bias circuit, switching the amplifier into a power-saving sleep mode.

Compact dimensions and pin pitch

Measuring only 24.5 x 15.5 x 3 mm and weighing 2g, this miniature board fits easily into tight enclosures. It features a 2mm pin pitch, making it straightforward to embed directly into custom hardware.

Straightforward wiring interface

The module includes dedicated terminals for power input, audio signals, and independent speaker outputs. Consult the connection diagram to ensure accurate pin configuration before powering your build.

Input voltage and wiring cautions

The amplifier operates on DC 3.6V to 5V and must not be exposed to voltages exceeding 5.5V to avoid IC damage. Always observe correct polarity, and ensure the independent negative poles for the high and low channels are never joined together.
