Description

The 3.5" IPS Capacitive Touch Screen delivers crisp 480x320 visuals with optical bonding and responsive five-point multi-touch. Equipped with both standard SPI and a plug-and-play GDI port, it is ideal for makers and developers building ESP32 or Arduino smart dashboards, HMI interfaces, and custom handheld projects.

Optically bonded IPS display

The 3.5-inch IPS panel provides wide 178-degree viewing angles, 300 cd/m² brightness, and an 800:1 contrast ratio. Full optical lamination eliminates the internal air gap to increase light transmittance, reduce glare in bright environments, and prevent dust accumulation over time.

Responsive capacitive multi-touch

Equipped with 5-point capacitive touch sensing and an anti-fingerprint surface coating, this screen delivers a smooth, smartphone-like user interaction. It ensures precise input handling for custom graphical user interfaces and on-screen controls.

Plug-and-play GDI and SPI wiring

Alongside standard SPI pin headers, the module features a dedicated GDI port for clean, single-ribbon FPC connection to compatible FireBeetle 2 series controllers. It operates on 3.3V to 5V DC with a nominal current draw of 80mA at 5V.

Onboard storage and library support

An integrated MicroSD card slot lets you store fonts, images, and GUI assets directly on the display module without extra breakout boards. Full compatibility with the Arduino GDL library makes it straightforward to render UI elements like buttons, progress bars, and keypads.

Compact layout for diverse projects

Measuring 95.0 x 54.5 x 5.7 mm with standard 2.0 mm mounting holes, the screen integrates easily into custom enclosures. It is well-suited for IoT control hubs, desktop weather stations, 3D printer monitors, and portable gaming devices.
