Description
The 2x7A DC Motor Driver is a compact, high-current board capable of driving two DC motors simultaneously. Designed for demanding robotics builds and room-limited projects, it suits makers, hobbyists, and engineering students needing robust power in a small footprint.
High continuous and peak current delivery
This driver delivers up to 7A of continuous operating current per channel across two output channels, with a peak current rating of 50A. It provides the heavy power delivery needed for demanding mobile robot platforms.
Comprehensive isolation and circuit protection
Photocoupler isolation shields control lines from motor reverse-current interference. The board also incorporates under-voltage latch-out (UVLO) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection on all interfaces to safeguard connected electronics.
Flexible voltage and PWM speed control
The module operates from a 7V to 24V DC supply, with an extended operating limit of 6.5V to 27V. Speed control is managed via PWM with a 5 microsecond minimum valid pulse width, supported by 3.3V and 5V logic compatibility.
Compact layout with M3 mounting
Measuring 55 mm by 55 mm and weighing just 32 g, the board easily fits into space-constrained projects. Standard M3 mounting holes ensure secure physical installation within operating temperatures from -25 to 85 degrees Celsius.
