Description

This 2-channel level converter safely translates 12V industrial signals down to 3.3V logic levels, allowing high-voltage sensors and PLCs to interface directly with modern microcontrollers. With onboard optocoupler isolation, it protects sensitive development boards from electrical noise and voltage surges. It is ideal for makers, students, and engineers integrating industrial automation hardware into low-voltage projects.

The module features dual-channel photoelectric isolation to prevent electrical interference between high-voltage inputs and your logic controller. Integrated SMD LEDs provide clear visual feedback whenever a channel is active.

DIN rail compatible enclosure

Supplied in a compact 40 x 87 x 39 mm shell, the converter clips directly onto standard rails for tidy cabinet installations. For custom enclosures, the 38 x 72 x 19 mm bare board can be mounted using 3 mm screw fixings.

Flexible signal compatibility

The module accepts common anode, common cathode, and differential 12V inputs. It can be used for PLC signal conversion, polarity shifting, and NPN-to-PNP translation.

Output specifications and power

The board delivers a 3.3V PNP output with a current capacity of up to 50mA per channel. To establish the correct output voltage level, the module requires a 3.3V DC VCC power supply.
